Hipmi to meet Chinese young counterparts

Jakarta Post | Aditya Suharmoko ,  Jakarta  | Business | 7 December 2009

The Indonesian Young Entrepreneurs Association (Hipmi) will talk to young Chinese businesspeople next week about trade that will benefit both countries, Hipmi trade head Harry Warganegara said Monday.

Hipmi will fly to China on Dec. 12, for the launch of the ASEAN-China Young Entrepreneurs Association that aims to strengthen trade between the countries, particularly in relation to free trade, Harry told reporters at a gathering.

“There also will be lobbying [with Chinese young businesspeople],” he said.

Chinese businesses have invited Hipmi to visit factories and manufacturing zones, which Indonesia can greatly learn from, he added.
